CAMP BGEN OSCAR FLORENDO- the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) will conduct a Search for Outstanding Policemen in the region after PCSUPT LUIZO C TICMAN, PRO1 Regional Director entered a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Rotary District 3790 this morning.
PCSUPT TICMAN said, the MOA includes a more cohesive Crime Prevention and Civic Projects that may help the police in the maintenance of peace and order in the region.
“The herein parties have agreed to jointly undertake Community Projects on Crime Prevention specifically the “Search for Outstanding Policemen of Regio 1,” the MOA stated.
The MOA was signed by DG “Jess” Nicdao, the Governor of the District 3790; Jose Garcia, President of Rotary Club Sub-Urban East Rizal and PCSUPT Ticman.
Meanwhile, the Search for Outstanding Policemen is set primarily sponsored by the Rotary Club to pay tribute and recognize examples of excellence and outstanding achievements of deserving police force who paid dedication and loyalty in serving the community.
“I am delighted with the contribution of Rotary District 3790 for making this search possible in our region, and of course for paving a way for the deserving policemen to shine in a positive way,” Ticman added.
The search is open to all interested policemen assigned in Region 1 who possess the following qualifications of at least five years active service, have personal character, professional competence, selfless love and service to people, respect for authority, human rights and government laws, community involvement and loyalty to duty and country.
PCSUPT TICMAN added that the search was group into two categories which the first category includes All Non-Commissioned Police Officers from Police Officer 1 (PO1) to Senior Police Officer 4 (SPO4) and the second category comprises all Commissioned Police Officers from Police Inspectors to Police Superintendent excluding station commanders and Chief of Police.xxx
