The Police Regional Office 1 is now open for 200 Phase I Recruit Quota for 2009.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- A citizen of the Philippines ;
- A person of good moral character;
- Must have passed the psychiatric or psychological tests to be administered by the PNP or by any government hospital accredited by the commission for determining the physical and mental health;
- Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
- Must be eligible in accordance with the standard set by the commission;
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged for military employment or dismissed from any civilian position in the government;
- Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense of crime involving moral turpitude;
- Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57m) for female;
- Must have weight not more than five kilograms (5kgs.) from the standard weight corresponding to his or her height, age and sex;
- Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.
An applicant shall be considered 21 years of age on his/her 21st birth date and shall be considered more than thirty (30) years of age on his or her 31st birth date.
ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS FOR APPOINTMENT
An appointee must possess the appropriate eligibility acquired for any of the following examinations:
· R.A. 1080 (Bar and Board Examinations)
· PNP Entrance Examination
· R.A. 6506 (Licensure Examination for Criminology Graduates)
· P.D. 907 (Granting Civil Service Eligibility to College Honor Graduates)
· CSS Second Level Eligibility ( Police Officer 1/ Police Officer)
REQUIREMENTS FOR POLICE OFFICER 1 APPLICANTS
- CSC Form 212 (Revised 2005);
- Birth Certificate (Authenticated by NSO);
- Eligibility (Authenticated by NAPOLCOM, PRC, CSC);
- Two (2) pieces 2×2 black and white picture with name tag;
- Transcript of Scholastic Records and Diploma ( duly authenticated by School Registrar);
- Clearances for the Barangay, Local Police Station, RTC/MTC and NBI;
- Medical Certificate issued by Local Health Officer.
Interested applicants are advised to visit the Municipal Police Station where they reside for further notice on the submission of folders for initial processing and for evaluation on the completeness and authenticity of the documentary requirements prior endorsement to the Police Provincial Police Office.
